Inktober Day 5

I went with two friends from work to this awesome coffee shop in the city called The Wormhole. We basically chilled for a few hours drawing and sipping nerdy named drinks.

I actually used a brush pen on this one, and it was an experience to say the least. I definitely fall in the heavy-handed-doodler camp.

New Job, New Reads

What a crazy two months it's been!

In July I began working as an artist at WMS Gaming, a local gaming company that specializes in casino games. We do a wide array of both original and licensed work for international venues, and it's been a wonderful, wonderful experience thus far. Everyone is so kind and supportive, and I'm learning so much. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with.

While working in a studio is fabulous, it also leaves me pretty drained by the end of the day. Hence, the lack of updates. But here's a Peter Quill/Kitty Pride doodle I've got on the back burner. For curious minds: it's 100% canon in the comic universe via All-New X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy, two of my favorite series. I highly recommend both - the art is stunning and the characters are their usual awesome selves.
