No real surprises this year at the Oscars... unless you count the un-classy cut off of the VFX crew for Pi. So disheartening, to put it simply. What a way to treat the industry that puts the magic into the media we so dearly love.
I was super happy for WDAS for their Paperman win, though I did love Adam and Dog dearly. And while I was happy for Mrs. Chapman and the female driven Brave, I would have loved to see Wreck-It Ralph win. Alas, as Jennifer Lee tweeted, "Ralph is about the misfits, for the misfits, so it fits."
(And I'd be remiss if I didn't fangirl over Adele - how utterly gorgeous was she? - and Jennifer Lawrence. Guhh. ♥)
In that pose she'll get a bucket full of ferrero rocher for sure.
