Post season baseball, man. It's amazing and heartbreaking all at once.

Nostalgia

Upon doing some more hard drive cleaning, I stumbled upon this gem:

I was so proud of this - never mind the fact some of the songs make little to no sense to anyone besides me -  and was so proud of these given teams. Admittedly my love for this team has wavered (Come on, 30 games under?), but the 2007 and 2008 teams hold a special place in my heart. I miss that ensemble of guys terribly.

I remember struggling to use all the awesome pictures I saved over the course of the two years... I still get emotional looking at some of these!

(I do want to go back in time and hug myself, not only because things haven't gotten better but also: I'm LOLing forever at the horrendous typography.)

FiveTwelve

I was backing up my hard-drive yesterday, and I found a whole slew of folders from my freshman year with stuff I'd completely forgotten about! This is one of my favorites. It was for an image manipulation class, where we had to create a DVD cover celebrating an aspect of Chicago.

(Five Twelve is how many home runs Ernie Banks hit in his career - 21st on the all time list.)
